Kanik Chung is a glass artist who has exhibited his work at Urban Glass, Artists Space, SOFA Chicago and other venues throughout New York and the United States. He has a Masters of Fine Art from Ohio State University.

As a New York based artist, Chung’s glass vessels echo the long, clean lines of the city's monolithic architecture and demonstrates a clear understanding of modern design. The sensuousness of glass is emphasized through simple design and exquisite proportions. Delicately balancing sleek modernist aesthetic with surprising beauty found in ordinary objects, Chung transforms the silhouettes of an egg timer or a flashlight into sophisticated glass containers.
