Shipping Time
All Robert Abbey products ship from our warehouse within 2-4 weeks and all Fontana Arte product ships within 1 week. In the rare instance that a product is out of stock or delayed, we will notify you of the delay. At that point you have the option of canceling the order or waiting for the product to arrive. No price adjustments or expedited shipping options will be given for delayed product.
At Rico, we strive to provide the best customer service and are unique in that many of our products are designed right here in our Brooklyn studio. We offer an online price match guarantee. However, we recognize that we must always be competitive in order to succeed. Therefore, we have implemented a Price Match Guarantee for all of our products sold online. If you find a lower price online before you place your order, we will match this amount contingent on the following criteria: Rico is both a brick and mortar and online dealer. We respect our brick and mortar competitors and do not offer price matching to local retail stores and showrooms. Price matching will be honored relative to online distributors ONLY.
All fees and charges will be accounted for in calculating your total cost with a competitor. This would include shipping costs, restocking fees and return restrictions.
Most importantly, Rico is a strict adherent to the policies and minimum prices demanded by our manufacturers and suppliers. There is an absolute minimum price that we must adhere to and we cannot go lower than this minimum price.
Purchases made at our retail locations are not eligible for Price Matching.
Shipping Costs
We offer free shipping on all items except for all Buster products due to the size of their shades.
Shipping Damages
It is an unfortunate fact that, once in a while, products may get damaged at the factory or in transit. If your order arrives and there is obvious, visible damage to one or more of the boxes, please refuse receipt of those boxes and notify us immediately. You will not be held responsible for any damages, but signing that a box was received damage helps us immensely in the claims process. If your order consists of several boxes, it is okay to accept the undamaged boxes and refuse the damaged ones . We will have the manufacturer send a replacement and we will handle the shipping issues on our end. Please notify us immediately after you have refused a package. If there is concealed damage, or you have not directly signed for a damaged package, Please contact us immediately and we will begin a claims process. Please keep your defective or broken product as it may need to be returned to the manufacturer. You must notify us of defective merchandise within 7 days of delivery.
Returns
We are dedicated to serving our customers and are committed to your satisfaction. We offer a 100% refund on unused merchandise, excluding any shipping and handling costs. Free shipping applied to your original order will be deducted from your return credit, with a minimum deduction of $15. Items must be returned within 15 days of delivery in new condition and original packaging. We do not accept returns on lightbulbs.
Returns require prior authorization (in the form of a RMA number) which can be requested by e-mailing light_is@shoprico.com and items must be received by us within 10 calendar days from when we issue the RMA or you will not receive any credit for your return. Be sure to include a description of the items you would like to return, the original order number and the reason for return in your message. We cannot accept returns without an RMA, so be sure to contact us before sending anything back.
Should any of the above conditions not be met, we reserve the right to disclaim replacement or refund of your order.
